Activity Therapist – Behavioral Health Unit

Schedule: Full-time

Shift: Day Shift

- Bachelor Degree in related field, Activity Therapy certification or National

Therapeutic Recreation certification

- Customer service skills required

- Experience is preferred

Participate in the development and implementation of the activity program for a new

adult acute behavioral health unit expected to open as part of Sierra Vista Regional

Health Center’s new hospital in April 2015.

Develop and implement an age appropriate therapeutic activity program for adult and

geriatric behavioral health populations. Monitor and evaluate the quality and

appropriateness of activities provided to the patient population.
